About fovea

The fovea centralis is the part of birds' eyes which allows them to see distant objects with acute detail. Likewise, this project provides a centralized and concise environment to view and iterate broad, decentralized citizen science data. The web interface abstracts professional data schemas and organization practices so that contributors can maintain autonomy over their data input while still enforcing scientific data validity.
